Step 1: Initial Consultation and Site Assessment

The journey begins with a free consultation to understand your energy needs and goals. During this meeting, we’ll discuss your energy consumption patterns, budget, and preferences. This helps us determine the best solar energy solution for your home or business.

Our team will also schedule a site assessment  to inspect your property. This includes:

• Evaluating your roof for solar panel installation (roof condition, orientation, shading, and space).
• Measuring available space for the panels, as well as considering other potential installation sites, like the ground or solar carports.
• Assessing electrical infrastructure to ensure your current system can accommodate solar energy.

We’ll take all of this information to design a customized system that meets your energy needs and maximizes your savings.

Step 2: Solar System Design and Proposal

Once we’ve gathered all the necessary information, we’ll create a custom solar power system design tailored to your property. This includes:

• The number and placement of solar panels.
• The type of inverter that best suits your system.
• Whether we recommend solar energy storage system for added energy independence.
• The estimated energy savings and return on investment (ROI).

We’ll present you with a clear, detailed proposal that outlines the system design, cost, and available financing options. Our goal is to ensure you understand every aspect of the proposal and are comfortable with the design before moving forward.

Step 3: Permitting and Approvals

Before installation can begin, we’ll handle all necessary permits and approvals. This includes:

1. Building permits: Local authorities typically require permits for solar panel installation. We’ll manage the paperwork and submit everything on your behalf.
2. Utility company coordination: We’ll work with your utility company to ensure that your solar system integrates smoothly with the grid. This might include setting up net metering or discussing how to handle excess power generation.

This step ensures that your installation complies with local building codes and regulations, so you don’t have to worry about a thing.

Step 4: Solar Panel Installation

Now comes the exciting part—the actual installation! On the scheduled day, our professional installers will arrive and begin the work. Here’s a general outline of what happens during this phase:

• Mounting the panels: Our team will securely install the solar panel mounts on your roof (or other installation site). The mounts will be positioned based on your roof’s angle, maximizing sunlight exposure.
• Wiring: The panels will be connected to the inverter, which converts the direct current (DC) electricity produced by the panels into usable alternating current (AC) electricity.
• Inverter installation: If you’re using a central inverter, it will be installed in an easily accessible area, such as a garage or basement. If you’ve chosen microinverters or power optimizers, these will be attached directly to each panel.

This step typically takes 1-3 days, depending on the complexity of the system and the size of the installation.

Step 5: Final Inspection and System Activation

After installation, we’ll schedule a final inspection to ensure everything is set up properly. This inspection is usually carried out by a local building inspector or your utility company. They’ll verify that your system is up to code and ready for operation.

Once approved, we’ll activate your solar energy system! Our team will:

• Connect your system to the grid (if applicable).
• Test the system’s performance to ensure it’s producing the expected amount of energy.
• Walk you through the monitoring tools so you can track your energy production and savings in real-time.

At this point, your solar energy system is fully operational!

Step 6: Ongoing Support and Maintenance

Your relationship with Infinity Solar USA doesn’t end once the installation is complete. We offer ongoing support to ensure your system is performing at its best for years to come. This includes:

• Monitoring your system’s performance: We provide access to an online portal or app that lets you track your energy production, savings, and efficiency.
• Maintenance and service: While solar systems are low-maintenance, it’s still important to periodically clean your panels and have your system inspected. We offer routine solar panel maintenance services with our service plan to keep your system in top shape.

If you ever encounter any issues or need assistance, our customer service team is always here to help.
